What we collect

When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, business name, and anything else you choose to share about your business or your books.

We also collect basic, aggregate site analytics through Vercel Analytics — things like which pages get visited and roughly where traffic comes from. That data is not tied to your identity.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, schedule a call, and deliver bookkeeping and advisory services if you become a client. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising purposes.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand general site usage. We do not build behavioral profiles of visitors.

We also use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure the results of our advertising. It records page views and form submissions, along with the cookie and device identifiers Meta uses to attribute those actions to an ad. This data is used for advertising measurement and optimization. The pixel does not load for visitors in the UK, Switzerland or the European Economic Area, where prior consent is required. You can also limit this tracking through your browser settings, your device's ad-tracking controls, and the ad preferences in your Meta account.

Data security

Client financial data lives in reputable, security-audited platforms rather than on local machines or spreadsheets emailed around. Access is limited to the people who need it to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, current precautions to protect your information.

Third-party tools

To run the business we rely on a small set of established providers: Digits for accounting and reporting, plus standard payment, scheduling, email, and document-sharing tools. Each of these has its own privacy policy governing the data it handles.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@thinkprofit.net and we'll take care of it. Note that some records may need to be retained where required by law or professional obligations.
