About ThinkProfit

Built by someone who's been on the inside of these businesses.

Not a bookkeeper who learned about agencies. An operator who ran the financials on them — then built the firm he wished existed.

How this started

I didn't come from accounting. I came from agencies.

Before ThinkProfit, I ran the financial side of a small M&A firm that acquired and operated digital marketing agencies.

That meant I was inside these businesses — not reviewing them from the outside. I saw the books, built the reporting, managed the cash flow, and watched what happened when the financial systems weren't good enough to support the growth.

I saw agencies losing money on clients they thought were profitable. I saw payroll eating 70 cents of every revenue dollar before anyone noticed. I saw owners making hiring decisions based on how last quarter looked instead of what the next 90 days actually showed.

The common thread wasn't bad operators. It was bad financial visibility.

After the M&A work, one thing was clear: the bookkeeping options available to agency owners were either too generic to be useful or too expensive to make sense. There was nothing built specifically for this industry by someone who actually understood it.

So I built it.

Today, ThinkProfit is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor firm built on Digits, serving agencies, home services businesses, and professional practices across the country.

Why agencies specifically

Agencies have a financial profile that most bookkeepers don't understand.

Retainer revenue that renews — or doesn't. Project work that closes in one month and drops off the next. Contractors who scale up during busy periods and disappear when work slows. Ad spend that flows through the agency and needs to be tracked separately from operating costs.

A generic bookkeeper will categorize your Ringba charges as a phone expense. They'll lump contractor invoices into a single line. They won't flag when your payroll-to-revenue ratio drifts past 60%.

We will. Because we've seen it before — and we know what it costs when nobody catches it early enough.

Here's the thing: these same problems — invisible margins, drifting labor costs, cash that gets tight without warning — show up in home services businesses and professional practices too. Different industry, same financial blind spots. The system we built for agencies works just as well for them.

How we work

The ThinkProfit approach.

We run a lean, focused operation. Every client is on Digits. Every engagement gets the same level of attention. And every month your books are closed clean — not "close enough."

We're not trying to be the biggest bookkeeping firm. We're trying to be the one that actually understands your business.

Direct communication.

No support tickets, no waiting three days for a reply. If something looks off in your numbers, you'll hear from us before you ask.

No surprises.

Pricing is clear, scope is clear, and when something falls outside of it, we tell you before we do it.

Digits-first.

Every client runs on Digits. Not because it's convenient for us — because it's genuinely better for you.

Focused, not generic.

We don't try to serve every business under the sun. We go deep on the industries we know — agencies, home services, and professional practices — so you get a bookkeeper who actually understands how your business makes money.
